Rare Large Real Wild Child Powerhouse Museum Framed Printed Picture

Regular price $699.99 $0.00
This measures 35" x 43". It has a black frame that needs a touch-up. This is a rare piece. This artwork by Chris O'Doherty aka Reg Mombassa was commissioned by the Powerhouse Museum as the visual identity for the 'Real Wild Child! Australian Rock Music Then and Now' exhibition of 1994. The poster won first prize in the poster category of the 1995 American Association of Museums publications design competition. The color of the background sky was inspired by skies viewed by the artist from the attic studio of his home in Glebe, Sydney during the Sydney bushfires of January 1994.
